Norland Shopzone Terms of Use

1) About us
This website (“Site”) is operated by BLUE EDGE MEDIA SOUTH AFRICA (Pty) Ltd, trading as NORLAND SHOPZONE (Registration No. 2006/121281/23) (“Norland Shopzone”, “we/us”). We operate as an independent distributor under Norland South Africa (Member ID: QC8927252).

2) Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using this Site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
3) Who may use the Site
You must be legally able to enter into a contract in South Africa. If you are using the Site on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
4) Products and health-related disclaimer
We sell Norland products including capsules, sanitary pads, pantyliners, and toothpaste.
- Content on the Site is for general information and is not medical advice.
- Always read labels and directions. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant/nursing, or take medication, consult a qualified healthcare professional before use.
5) Pricing, availability, and order acceptance
- Prices are shown in ZAR unless stated otherwise.
- Stock availability is not guaranteed. We may cancel an order if stock is unavailable, payment is not confirmed, or fraud is suspected.
- If a product is listed with an obvious pricing or description error, we may correct it and cancel or adjust the order (we will contact you where practical).
6) Payments
Payments are processed through Paystack South Africa using available methods such as cards and other Paystack-supported options. We do not store full card details.
7) Delivery
We primarily serve South Africa. Customers in Botswana, Namibia, and Eswatini may order only if delivery is received at a South African address.
- Delivery may be fulfilled via PostNet, PAXI (PEP), The Courier Guy, or Uber Courier, depending on the service selected and location.
- Delivery timelines shown are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control (courier delays, public holidays, incorrect addresses, etc.).
- You are responsible for providing accurate delivery details.
8) Returns, refunds, defects, and damaged deliveries
Your returns/refunds are governed by our Refunds & Returns Policy (it forms part of these Terms).
Key points:
- No change-of-mind returns for sealed hygiene/consumable goods, except where the law provides otherwise.
- If goods are defective within 6 months, South African consumer law gives you the right to return them and choose repair/replacement/refund (as applicable). (The National Consumer Commission)
- If an item is damaged in transit or you received the wrong item, notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photo/video evidence.
9) Cooling-off rights for certain electronic transactions
Where an electronic transaction results from direct marketing and qualifies under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), you may have a 7-day cooling-off right to cancel (subject to the Act’s conditions and exclusions). (SAFLII)
10) Accounts and acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site unlawfully or fraudulently,
- attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload the Site,
- upload malware or harmful code,
- impersonate another person, or
- misuse discounts, payment systems, or refund processes.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably suspect abuse or unlawful activity.
11) Intellectual property
All content on the Site (logos, branding, text, layout, product images where owned/licensed by us) is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse it without written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.
12) Reviews and user-submitted content
If you submit reviews or comments, you:
- must be truthful and not misleading,
- must not post unlawful, defamatory, or harmful content, and
- grant us a non-exclusive right to use and display that content on our Site and marketing channels.
13) Privacy and POPIA

14) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (loss of profit, loss of data, business interruption).
- nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other applicable laws.
15) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the current version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
16) Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa, and (where appropriate) the courts in Johannesburg, Gauteng, for disputes related to these Terms.
